  Two Sides of Sinatra

Two Sides of Sinatra

December 2015 would have been when one of the greatest singers of the 20th Century turned 100.  2015 is also the 60th anniversary of his classic album 'In the wee small hours of the morning'.

Frank Sinatra has a huge back catalogue of amazing material and as well as the classics we know and love there is also a treasure trove of amazing songs which are less well-known.

Nick has put together a collection of songs which cover both aspects of ol' blue eyes, shining a new light on some of the great standards but also discovering and sharing a few surprises along the way.

"We all know the classics from Sinatra but there are so many great songs he performed that don't get the airplay or are under-appreciated.  I love the classics and have some great ones in the set though I stay clear of one or two such as 'My Way' and 'New York' as they are so definitive that there is nothing a singer can add.  However, I'm particularly excited by some great tunes which I've known a long time but which are rarely heard and other songs which I hadn't even realised Frank had recorded.  It's been a great voyage of discovery."

With his band of top musicians, Nick will perform an exciting and eclectic mix of songs from the master.
